Patients arrive at the Brahmanbaria District Hospital in Bangladesh to have their eyes screened for cataract blindness. The simple operation, made possible by The Fred Hollows Foundation, resurrects local communities by transforming the lives of thousands of Bangladeshis who thought blindness was just a part of getting old.
